We Have Our First Teaser Trailer For The Upcoming Venom Movie
Another day, another trailer! I may have been so caught up in the Football Blues over the years to realize that early February is apparently #SummerBlockbusterTrailerSZN. But I’m not going to complain one bit. Anything to take my mind off the fact that it’s 20 degrees outside, my driveway looks like an ice skating rink, and people pay half as much to live in places where neither of those things happen on a monthly basis in this country.
Anyway, there really wasn’t much to that teaser trailer to get the dick hard. Or even a little jolt. In fact if we are being honest, the sight of the teaser poster made it move more than those 109 seconds of video did.
But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot to be excited about. Having a stud like Tom Hardy playing, for my money, the 2nd best villain in the Marvel Universe gives any Marvel fan a nerd boner on its own. Magneto is locked in as the GOAT in my mind, but Venom is number 2 in terms of entertainment potential. Since it looks like Sony and Marvel are going to continue playing nice so the the Spiderman franchise actually becomes good again, the ceiling is once again the roof for all things that the Spidey World touches. And while I would have loved to see a glimpse of Hardy causing absolute carnage in the Venom suit this morning, I’m sure they are saving that for the first real deal trailer. Which I will inevitably blog because I am a sheep for movie trailers and most superhero movies.
